Hold baggage screening - Std3 EDS

MV3D

The MV3D system is developed and manufactured by Leidos Security Detection & Automation.
The MV3D was developed to meet the most stringent detection requirements whilst retaining the advantages of standard fixed-generator EDS systems. Its innovative design, incorporating multiple generators and detectors, enables it to generate high-resolution 2D and 3D images and to match the performance of rotating gantry systems.

  • Fixed multi-generator tomograph
  • High-speed screening of 1,800 bags per hour
  • Dynamic 3D images with multiple views
  • STP Compliance
  • A one-metre-wide tunnel

The tunnel’s dimensions – 1 metre wide by 80 cm high – make it easy to integrate the MV3D into most baggage sorting systems on the market. Equipped with a single conveyor belt running at 0.5 m/s, the MV3D ensures a high inspection throughput whilst guaranteeing the STB optimal baggage tracking.

The advanced Dieback function allows baggage to be stopped within the scan beams without any loss of data or the need for a reverse cycle.
The MV3D is the culmination of decades of experience in baggage screening systems using fixed and rotating X-ray generators by Leidos Security Detection & Automation.

Explore our other sectors of activity

Sensitive sites
Since illegal act risk vectors vary depending on the site activity, the technological solutions must be designed and sized according to these risks and the operational constraints.
Border controls
Since there are numerous types of border control, whether for the screening of persons or goods in a vehicle, a truck or a sea container, the state authorities must acquire and use the means adapted to each mission.
Events - Rental
Security has become a vital aspect for event organisers. We have therefore dedicated some of our equipment to meet the temporary requirement for a screening checkpoint over a very short period of time.
