The Paragon™ metal detector walk-through is the very latest piece of equipment developed and manufactured by GARRETT.
This multi-zone detector offers excellent detection and discrimination performance for objects such as keys, coins, jewellery, weapons and mobile phones.
The Paragon™ walk-through scanner, configured to trigger an alarm across 66 optimally distributed zones, offers excellent detection performance during two-way screening of individuals. The advanced Quick-Q (mobile phone detection discrimination) and Ambiscan (exclusive differentiated two-way detection) functions enable a wide range of applications.

How it works
The Paragon™ can be used outdoors in all weather conditions (IP65) and is battery-powered (battery life ~ 10 hours with the optional battery).
The Paragon™’s customised configuration can be easily replicated across the entire fleet using NFC contactless cards.

Functioning
ADJUSTABLE DETECTION SENSITIVITY
The sensitivity of each of the 66 zones can be adjusted independently, whether in the entry or exit direction.
The Paragon™ automatically adapts its operating frequencies.
This enables it to immunise itself against electromagnetic interference from its environment.
The factory-preset programmes are designed to meet specific requirements, particularly those of airports and sensitive sites (public, private, industrial), as well as specific usage scenarios (shoplifting, events, high-security
sites).
