Respect of the environment
For many years, VISIOM has progressively implemented a firmly voluntary environmental approach which involves all VISIOM employees.
In this respect, our environmental initiatives promote:
- Recycling
- Use of videoconferencing
- Car-sharing to reduce our carbon emissions
- Use of green transport means
Recycling: our partnership with Ecosystem
Our approach to valorise equipment at end of life consists in collecting, dismantling, sorting and recycling equipment removed/replaced.
For the recycling aspects, we have been partners of Ecosystem since 2018 to make sure we meet our objectives and the professional WEEE obligations.
This partnership includes collection on site, dismantling, treatment, valorisation and recycling of all components of the equipment deployed by VISIOM, and by extension the equipment we need to collect on site when deploying our equipment.
Environmental principles:
- Implement a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
- Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility;
- Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Principles regarding the fight against corruption
- Act against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
Principles concerning the respect of Human Rights:
- Support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.
- Make sure that the company is not complicit in human rights abuses.
Principles concerning the respect of International labour standards:
- Uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
- Contribute to the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
- Contribute to the effective abolition of child labour;
- Contribute to the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
Ethical charter
We are an added value distributor, relying on American, Italian and German suppliers.
Through our distribution agreements, we ensure that Human Rights are respected by the partners whose activity we represent through the products we distribute. More broadly, we encourage all players of our ecosystem to respect and promote our code of ethics and conduct applicable in our industrial and commercial development.
