LETK Gen. 2

The new generation of LETK Gen. 2 Explosive Liquid Test Kits is developed and manufactured by SwabTek.

The single-use LETK Gen. 2 Kit comes in a sealed pouch, each containing a sterile swab and a card with three reactive zones. The liquid, gel or paste sample is applied to the three test areas using the swab. The result is read after a waiting time of approximately 10 seconds by comparing the chemical reagent with the reference printed on the card. The instructions for use are printed on each sampling card.

How it works

Innovative chemical compounds enable the LETK Gen. 2 Kit to reliably detect a wide range of explosive substances, including so-called improvised explosives such as TATP (triacetone triperoxide), HMTD (hexamethylene triperoxydiamine) and MEKP (methyl ethyl ketone peroxides).
The LETK Gen. 2 Kit performs at its best before its expiry date of five years from the date of manufacture, as stated on the sealed pouch.
