Security, a passionate profession
After working several years at Schlumberger then Sensormatic at the head of the Security department, Jean-Paul PAGNY acquired this activity and created the company VISIOM in July 1997.
Thanks to an excellent knowledge of products and customers, the unfailing motivation of the women and men who joined Visiom, success was bound to follow. In just a few years, the company became leader in the field of security, with in the year 2000, for example, 100 % of the national market of hold and carry-on baggage screening systems.
Security is a permanent challenge for which we must understand the needs of our customers, improve our skills and respect the rules of regulatory obligations.

Technological innovation and service, our DNA
Visiom’s expertise is constantly developing, both as regards technological solutions and quality of service.
In 2006, for example, we were the first to present the first millimetre wave scanners (body scanners), now used in most major airports.
More recently we were selected to supply the new carry-on baggage screening equipment which will allow passengers to travel with liquids again. In 2001 with the first extensive deployments of our equipment in the regions, we adapted our maintenance contracts to the requirements of our customers and were the first to set up regional agencies welcomed for their skills and reactivity.

The VISIOM Group consists of more than 16 operational agencies, subsidiaries and branches which guarantee a unique proximity service for their customers. With its decentralised organisation, this mode of operation ensures know-how, autonomy and high reactivity.
