B220 HT
Building on its long-standing partnership with the manufacturer LEIDOS, VISIOM has added the B220 HT™ trace detector to its product range.
The B220 HT™ utilises proven IMS (Ion Mobility Spectrometry) technology, which requires no radioactive source, to detect traces of explosives and narcotics across a wide range of substances. Its advanced technology and the latest CEAC-certified (explosives) algorithms give it the lowest false alarm rate on the market.
The design of its sampling handle minimises sample handling, reduces contamination and simplifies sample insertion into the device, ensuring reliable, rapid analysis that is easy to interpret. The sample counter integrated into the handle keeps track of the number of times the same sampling trap has been used.
- Explosives and narcotics trace detector
- Non-radioactive photoionising source
- Lowest false alarm rate on the market
- Detection of new substances of interest
- Integrated network architecture
How it works
When integrated into a network architecture, authorised operators can remotely view all operational data from the B220 HT™ trace detectors. This enables them to assess their operational performance and manage their security systems in real time.
The B220 HT™’s extremely low false alarm rate, combined with VISIOM’s Customer Service, makes this trace detector a tried-and-tested, reliable solution for its users.
