Transport

Faced with the globalisation of freight exchanges and personal mobility, the transport sector has become a privileged vector for a range of illegal acts.

Sensitive sites

Since illegal act risk vectors vary depending on the site activity, the technological solutions must be designed and sized according to these risks and the operational constraints.

Border controls

Since there are numerous types of border control, whether for the screening of persons or goods in a vehicle, a truck or a sea container, the state authorities must acquire and use the means adapted to each mission.

Events - Rental

Security has become a vital aspect for event organisers. We have therefore dedicated some of our equipment to meet the temporary requirement for a screening checkpoint over a very short period of time.

New governance structure at VISIOM

After six years as Quality Director, Marion DARIDAN has been appointed Managing Director of VISIOM. She shares with us her vision for the future and the company’s activities.

2024 marks a new chapter in VISIOM’s governance, with my appointment as Chief Executive Officer. I am thus taking over from Philippe Bouchet, who has led the organisation for the past seven years. Building on the strategy and initiatives already underway, my priority will be to strengthen our position in the security market whilst ensuring the operational excellence that is at the very heart of VISIOM’s DNA.

After more than 20 years’ experience in cross-functional management within the telecoms and information systems security sectors, I joined VISIOM in 2018 to play an active role in steering and coordinating its quality management system.

The world, and in particular the industrial sector, has come to recognise the scale of the cyber threat, where issues ranging from individual protection to national sovereignty may be compromised. Our mission is to ensure – notably through our ISO 27001 approach and its alignment with ANSSI best practices – that our security systems deployed at critical and strategic sites do not become the weak links in the security chain.

In 2018, we joined the UN Global Compact, which sets out best practice in the field of CSR.

Our actions are aimed at minimising the environmental impact of our business.

We are particularly committed to the refurbishment and reuse of our systems, with the support of specialist networks. By offering energy-efficient, high-performance and innovative solutions, we position ourselves as a trusted partner in our clients’ environmentally responsible initiatives.

Since its inception, VISIOM has kept pace with technological and regulatory developments in the field of aviation security. Through the DGAC’s ‘Vision Sécurité’ programme, we are rolling out our comprehensive security checkpoint solutions, which incorporate all the latest technologies and AI algorithms for screening cabin baggage and passengers. We are already seeing the benefits of these new systems, both in terms of operational efficiency and in enhancing the passenger experience.

Our regional offices are fully committed to this technological revolution and ensure the continuity of service for the deployed solutions at a local level.
